- 05.00am Enjoy the sunrise at Ranu Kumbolo lake

Semeru volcano

This is the tallest mountain on the island of Java. The name "Semeru" is derived from Meru, the Hindu world's central mountain, or Sumeru, the home of the gods. This stratovolcano is also known as Mahameru, which means "Great Mountain" in Sanskrit. It is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Indonesia.
