Yogyakarta has a special imaginary line that connects Mount Merapi, the Yogyakarta Palace, and the South Sea, with the Yogyakarta Monument in the north and the Krapyak Stage in the south marking the relationship between the three places. This imaginary line distinguishes Yogyakarta from other regions and serves as the starting point for Yogyakarta urban development, with the Palace constructing several physical facilities in this segment, including Beringharjo Market, North Alun-alun, South Alun-alun, and the Gedhe Kauman Mosque.

The temple complex is about 17 kilometers (11 miles) northeast of Yogyakarta, on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta.
It is Indonesia's largest Hindu temple complex and the second largest in Southeast Asia after Angkor Wat. It is notable for its tall and pointed architecture, which is typical of Hindu architecture, as well as the central structure, which stands 47 meters (154 feet) tall within a vast complex of individual temples. Ceto (Indonesian: Candi Ceto) is a Javanese-Hindu temple built in the fifteenth century on the western slope of Mount Lawu (1,495 m above sea level), on the border of the provinces of Central and East Java.
Cetho is one of several temples built on the northwest slopes of Mount Lawu in the fifteenth century. By this point, Javanese religion and art had diverged from the Indian precepts that had influenced temple architecture from the eighth to tenth centuries. This was the last significant area of temple construction in Java before the island's courts were converted to Islam in the 16th century. Because of the uniqueness of the temples and the scarcity of records of ancient Javanese ceremonies and beliefs, historians struggle to interpret the significance of these antiquities.

Madakaripura Waterfall is a waterfall in East Java's Probolinggo District. This 200-meter-tall waterfall is Java's tallest and Indonesia's second-tallest. This waterfall is located in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, specifically on the slopes of Mount Bromo. Madakaripura Waterfall is located at the end of a narrow valley and is shaped like a niche surrounded by steep cliffs that drip water as if it were raining; three of these cliffs even poured water down to form another waterfall.
The waterfall's name, which is 1,000 meters above sea level, is derived from the word Madakaripura, which refers to Mahapatih Gajah Mada's fief land in the Majapahit kingdom. The Madakaripura Waterfall is also known as the Eternal Waterfall. This is because the volume of water flowing from this waterfall never decreases and is always abundant.
Bromo is an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, located in the Tengger Mountains. At 2,329 meters (7,641 feet), it is not the highest peak in the massif, but it is the most famous. The area is one of East Java's most popular tourist destinations, and the volcano is part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. Bromo is derived from the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Mount Bromo is located in the "Sea of Sand" nature reserve (Javanese: Segara Wedi or Indonesian: Lautan Pasir), which has been protected since 1919.
Mount Bromo is usually reached via the nearby mountain village of Cemoro Lawang. It takes about 45 minutes to walk to the volcano from there, or you can take an organized jeep tour that includes stops at the Mount Penanjakan viewpoint (2,770 m (9,500 ft)) (Indonesian: Gunung Penanjakan). The attractions of Mount Penanjakan can also be reached on foot in about two hours.
The Semeru volcano is an active volcano in Indonesia's East Java province. In this region, the Indo-Australian plate subducts beneath the Eurasia plate. This is the tallest mountain on the island of Java. The name "Semeru" is derived from Meru, the Hindu world's central mountain, or Sumeru, the home of the gods. This stratovolcano is also known as Mahameru, which means "Great Mountain" in Sanskrit. It is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Indonesia.
Semeru rises dramatically above the eastern Java coastal plains. Maars with crater lakes have formed in a line across the summit of the volcano. It formed south of the overlapping Ajek-ajek and Jambagan calderas. The eruption's byproducts are andesitic. Semeru is the southernmost volcano in the Tengger Volcanic Complex.
The eruptions of Semeru have a long history. At least 55 eruptions of lava flows and pyroclastic flows have been recorded since 1818. (11 of which resulted in fatalities).
Tumpak Sewu, also known as Coban Sewu, is a waterfall in East Java, Indonesia, located between the Pronojiwo District in the Lumajang Regency and the Ampelgading District in the Malang Regency. Semeru, Java's highest mountain and an active volcano, obscures the waterfall. The waterfall's primary water source is the Glidik River, which flows down Semeru. Tumpak Sewu roughly translates to "a thousand waterfalls" in Javanese. The name most likely refers to the appearance of multiple waterfalls in a single, semicircular area.
Tumpak Sewu is a popular weekend destination for tourists. Although the construction of infrastructure around and within the main box canyon has made it easier to access the area, the journey to enter or exit is still physically demanding and can take up to an hour.
The Ijen volcano complex is a group of composite volcanoes in East Java, Indonesia, near the Banyuwangi and Bondowoso regencies. It is notable for its blue fire, acidic crater lake, and laborious sulfur mining.
The Ijen volcano, located west of Gunung Merapi, has a turquoise-colored acidic crater lake one kilometer (0.62 miles) wide. The lake is the site of a labor-intensive sulfur mining operation, in which sulfur-laden baskets are carried from the crater floor by hand. The work is well compensated in comparison to the cost of living in the area, but it is physically demanding. Workers earn about US$13 per day and must transport sulfur chunks three kilometers to the nearby Paluding Valley to be compensated.
The Arabica Coffee Garden Tourism object is owned by BUMN PT Perkebunan XXVI and spans 4,000 hectares and 900 meters above sea level. It is about 57 kilometers east of Bondowoso. The visitor can gaze out the window and take in the breathtaking scenery.
There, we can observe processes such as coffee picking, coffee selection in the field and at the factory, drying of coffee seeds, and the milling of coffee seeds, which results in Arabica Instant Coffee with a unique flavor and fragrance. Arabica coffee has a distinct flavor, a pleasant aroma, and a delectable taste. Tourists can also tour the garden area by bicycle or car.
Aside from Arabica coffee, tourists can enjoy a variety of other amenities at the plantation. Guests can enjoy the flower garden's roses and lilies, as well as recreational fishing at the fishing arena. Meeting rooms, a tennis court, and a swimming pool are also available.
Sukamade beach is roughly 97 kilometers southwest of Banyuwangi. It is a beautiful, tranquil, natural setting that is part of the 50,000-hectare Meru Betiri National Park. Turtles lay eggs on Sukamade beach nearly every night of the year. Because the site is obviously of global importance, the overworked park rangers protect it 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The rangers take some eggs to protect them from human and animal predators. The eggs are incubated in the park's hatchery before being released into the sea from the same beach where they were laid. There are other beaches within the park's boundaries that are comparable, but the turtles appear to prefer Sukamade.
The turtle population's stability has been aided by a system of careful tagging and monitoring, as well as the use of special hatcheries. On a moonlit night, watching these massive creatures emerge from the surf and struggle up the beach to lay their eggs is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will ensure Sukamade's continued prominence. This is off the beaten path and takes some effort to get to, but it is well worth it.
